With 2021 in the rearview mirror and the heaviest throes of the pandemic seemingly behind us, the world is looking to travel once more. While Florida and Boca Raton by extension have remained a beacon of light for those relocating to South Florida or seeking a more resilient community free of lockdowns, it hasn't been all sunshine and roses (ok, maybe it's been close). Bloomberg.com has done an excellent job with their travel blog, identifying 24 other destinations alongside Boca Raton real estate as the places to go in 2022. For our part, we've assembled a few more reasons to join us here in Boca Raton, whether for a quick jaunt, or a lifetime!

We can't call them experts unless they've stayed a week (or three) in our beautiful sunny home, but we're eager to see what their travel team had to say about Boca Raton. Their claim: Boca Raton is suddenly more than a retirement hovel, offering more options for young people to "join their grandparents."

The outsider perspective maybe that Boca Raton is still a retiree-dominated landscape, but their claim that Boca Raton is slowly morphing into an extension of Miami's vibrancy is well-founded. More than just golf courses, country clubs, and high-end shopping, Boca Raton offers more budget-friendly gastropubs, youth attractions, and nightlife in districts like Mizner Park. Furthermore, the meteoric rise of FAU's student population to nearly 40,000 students has led more young people to seek housing closer to the water at spots like The Meridian and Boca Grand.

We recognize the need for Bloomberg's writers to give airtime to every one of these 25 places to go in 2022, but we're not content with leaving it there. Though each point is salient, we understand the word count restrictions when juxtaposing our community between entries for places like Singapore's forests and Vienna's many craft bakeries. Below are three more reasons to visit Boca Raton in 2022.

We'd be lying if things didn't get a little tight around Glades Rd. With all the new construction, infrastructure projects, and a previously staunched traveling populace, it's easy to see why things could feel a bit cramped in Boca Raton. Yet, despite all this, the infamous South Florida traffic doesn't quite have the same impact as it does in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. From the westernmost Boca Raton to Red Reef Park, the flow of traffic is just a bit easier in Boca Raton.

Broward and Miami-Dade County aren't strictly urbanized, and we'd never want to take away from the allure of our neighbors to the north, south, and west, but Boca Raton is the pinnacle representation of the merger of high life and natural living. For those who see "natural" as an organic juice and jog on the beach, Boca is here for you. For others looking to delve into swampland, kayak through the mangroves, and get in touch with nature, Boca Raton has that too. For anyone looking to be the furthest thing from an alligator, nowhere does the high life better than Boca Raton. From Mizner Park to Royal Palm Place, the Boca Town Center to The Boca Beach Club, there's a "natural" fit for anyone of any age in Boca Raton.

Visiting Boca Raton doesn't have to be a one-stop tour of South Florida. Though West Palm Beach, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale may have more global headlines, Boca Raton is the center of it all and gives you access to everything within moments.
