CINCO DE MAYO AT El Camino - Delray Beach
- Where: El Camino - 15 NE 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444
- When: Open 'til Close
El Camino Mexican Soul Food and Tequila Bars are hands down one of the most recognizable names in South Florida, and a cornerstone of the Pineapple Grove Arts District in Delray Beach, with additional locations in Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. El Camino has recently expanded from its core cult following to include three distinct locations serving upwards of 30,000-50,000 customers monthly, with a fourth location planned to open at Restaurant Row, Boca Raton this fall. Since its inception in 2014, the always-busy restaurant South Florida brand has developed a knack for attracting locals seeking the vibrant flavors and eclectic environment that El Camino is renowned for. All three locations will feature Mariachi bands, outstanding deals on their immense selection of mezcals and tequilas, and of course, the familiar nightlife that calls to everyone from local hospitality staff to celebrities like Janet Jackson. Food is made from scratch, blending classical Mexican authenticity with contemporary twists on historic flavors, homemade specialty batch tequila, and even to-go craft margaritas sold by the liter. El Camino is a place that cannot be ignored and should never leave your Cinco De Mayo radar.
Cinco de Mayo at The Naked Taco - Boca Raton & Coconut Creek
- Where: Naked Taco, Coconut Creek Promenade & Glades Rd. In Boca Raton
- When: Open 'til Close
Much like Calaveras and Rocco's Tacos (seen below), The Naked Taco might not be a mom & pop Mexican restaurant, but is an assuredly reliable spot for a wild night out. Whether enjoying your Cinco celebration at the Coconut Creek Promenade or Central Boca location, the Naked Taco is known for its clean, refreshing margaritas with homemade natural sour mix, its salsa and queso dips, and its festive atmosphere. There are numerous appetizers, taco and burrito options to suit every appetite, including vegetarian and vegan.
Cinco De Mayo with Unravel at Mickey's - Pompano
- Where: Mickey's Tiki Bar
- When: Friday, May 5th. 6:30 PM - Close
Mickey's in Pompano Beach may not have the glitz, glamor, or Mexican vibe that many of our other mentions have. But, Mickey's deserves a mention as a historic bar and a surefire spot to enjoy Cinco de Mayo. Known for its great service, no-frills cocktail menu, and local-first atmosphere, Mickey's has served Pompano Beach for over 54 years. UnRavel, a prominent local band who have made a name serenading the South Florida bar scene, will provide live music throughout the evening.
Cinco at Rocco's Tacos
- Where: Rocco's Tacos - Boca Town Center Mall & Delray Beach Atlantic Avenue
- When:Open 'til Close
Like the Naked Taco, Rocco's Tacos offers local Boca Raton homeowners two viable locations to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Whether attending at the Town Center Mall, where its sprawling outdoor seating sets its location apart, or the larger indoor environment directly on Atlantic Avenue, Rocco's offers several locations in South Florida beyond these two beautiful locales. Rocco's Tacos might be the most prepared and best place of all for Cinco de Mayo, but even we're not sure where we plan to eat, drink, and live life to the fullest. Whatever your choice is, you can expect a lively atmosphere, refreshing margaritas, and cheaper-than-usual and always delicious Mexican food.
