Where To Go In 2022 | Boca Raton Makes Bloomberg's Top 25 Travel Destinations

bloomberg travel top 25 | boca raton real estate

With 2021 in the rearview mirror and the heaviest throes of the pandemic seemingly behind us, the world is looking to travel once more. While Florida and Boca Raton by extension have remained a beacon of light for those relocating to South Florida or seeking a more resilient community free of lockdowns, it hasn't been all sunshine and roses (ok, maybe it's been close). Bloomberg.com has done an excellent job with their travel blog, identifying 24 other destinations alongside Boca Raton real estate as the places to go in 2022. For our part, we've assembled a few more reasons to join us here in Boca Raton, whether for a quick jaunt, or a lifetime!

what bloomberg had to say about boca raton

We can't call them experts unless they've stayed a week (or three) in our beautiful sunny home, but we're eager to see what their travel team had to say about Boca Raton. Their claim: Boca Raton is suddenly more than a retirement hovel, offering more options for young people to "join their grandparents."

The outsider perspective maybe that Boca Raton is still a retiree-dominated landscape, but their claim that Boca Raton is slowly morphing into an extension of Miami's vibrancy is well-founded. More than just golf courses, country clubs, and high-end shopping, Boca Raton offers more budget-friendly gastropubs, youth attractions, and nightlife in districts like Mizner Park. Furthermore, the meteoric rise of FAU's student population to nearly 40,000 students has led more young people to seek housing closer to the water...

Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade | Know Before You Go

boca raton holiday parade

What's better than the holidays? For family, we come together and share our love for one another. For singles, it's cuffing season. For charities, it's giving season. We simply can't get enough of the joy, cheer, and goodwill that this time of year seems to bring. Perhaps the only thing better than the holidays, are the holidays planned properly. We all have memories of the holiday cliches: missed flights, dad's standing with their arms crossed and an open trash bag ready for gift wrap, the neurotic planning that goes around dinner, and even the ridiculous Black Friday bonanza. Simply put, Santa makes a list, checks it twice, and so should you before you come.

Thanksgiving In Boca Raton | Giving Thanks From Champagne & Parisi

Champagne & Parisi Thanksgiving Gratitude list

We'd be lying if we weren't a little excited for the end of this work day and the moments ahead with our friends and family. Thanksgiving is the ultimate opportunity to take a much needed break while the holidays ramp up, and the antecedent to when the holidays truly begin. We think its a sin to watch our local craft store skip straight from pumpkins to peppermint. In honor of Thanksgiving and the many special people we have to thank, the Champagne & Parisi Team has assembled our official (way too short) gratitute list. We wish we had the words to thank everyone, but we'll start with these amazing contributors to our tremendous 2021. THANK YOU!

Our Champagne & Parisi Agents

We wouldn't be a real estate brokerage without our team of 100 agents - all of whom are family to us. In our years of service to our community, we've seen our fair share of Realtors come and go. We couldn't be more thrilled with this team of hardworking, intelligent, and perhaps most importantly, compassionate Realtors we've assembled through the years. Our team looks out for each other as much as they do for our clients, and the success we've built upon...

Veterans Day 2021 | A Tribute To South Florida's Veterans

5 legendary florida veterans hall of famers

This Veterans Day, like all others, we give thanks and honor the incredible sacrifice these brave men and women made to secure our freedom and protect our homeland. We all have family or friends we can turn to and show our support, but today the Champagne & Parisi team looks to honor 5 notable South Florida veterans and shed light on their incredible stories. The Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame was established in 2011 by the State of Florida to recognize Floridians who have shown the values that reflect our greatest veterans during their service and in their communities afterward. Their website is a wonderful resource into the tales of valor and commitment to service that may not have made our textbooks. Today we give thanks - here are 5 members of The Florida Veterans Hall of Fame that we are humbly grateful for!
Robert White, Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame member

ROBERT WHITE

Sergeant Robert White served the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His motto "keeping the promise" kept him (literally) on track as he's carved out a remarkable career as both a serviceman and civilian. Sergeant White has spent over 40 years counseling veterans on their mental health, as a licensed counselor with an M.S. in Psychology, among other academic plaudits. His unyielding advocacy for veterans, particularly in the area of mental health has seen...

halloween events in Boca

It's mid-October and Boca Raton is ready to celebrate the welcome breeze and cooler days ahead. With no leaves to watch fall and plenty of heat through the winter months, Boca Raton's real estate landscape doesn't carry the same autumnal gravitas that many communities up north naturally benefit from. For that reason, our fall festivals, Halloween events, and haunted houses are a celebration of our community. With the people, not the foliage, setting the tone for fall - here are a handful of the best and most popular Halloween events in Boca Raton.

5 Back To School Tips To Start The Year Right | Boca Raton Schools

back to school tips

It’s that time of year again. Your kids are dreading, counting the days. You’re probably counting the days, too, but ready to rock and roll! The first day of school is right around the corner. We hope you enjoyed the warm weather, the summer vacations, and family time, but we think that you’re ready to get your kids out of the living room and back in the classroom for a new school year. Here are 5 tips for your family to start the school year right!

Never Stop Preparing

prepared written on blackboard

The new school year may seem ages away to a kid in June, but September arrives faster than they realize. One of the most important yet overlooked ways to start the school year right is to keep children academically engaged throughout the summer. Leisure and idle time can dull the skills and cloud knowledge that your children have been absorbing for the past 9 months. It’s extremely important to maintain some form of learning to keep their minds fresh and continue their education even in the summer months. Trips to museums and the reading list certainly help, as does structure. Maybe nothing so draconian as tests and pop quizzes, but flashcards and light practice of math and language will keep your children sharp and ready to start the year off without the pains of getting acclimated to learning again.
