shopping districts in boca ratonThe Boca Raton's lifestyle is elegant but relaxed, but we certainly love our creature comforts. Almost anything you need is within a ten-minute drive to some of the best malls or cutest boutiques that our seaside town has to offer. Here are 5 of the best shopping centers, malls, and retail districts in Boca Raton!

Town Center at Boca Raton

6000 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431

Undeniably the gold standard for malls in Florida, or nationally for that matter. Town Center is the once, present, and future center of life for many a teenager, working professional or the leisurely retired. With its wide, avenue-like hallways with ceilings that reach up to three stories, and, most importantly, impeccable A/C maintenance in the summer, Town Center offers Boca Raton residents shops from the mid-range to Louis Vuitton. There are also ample restaurants, such as The Capital Grille or Grand Lux Café, to Earl of Sandwich and Chick-fil-A. Come as you are, because there is simply something for everyone at this Boca Raton mall!

Mizner Park

As one of the most charming and open-air shopping districts in Boca, Mizner Park possesses an actual park between its pastel rows of shops. Dine outdoors and take an after-dinner stroll between its signature green gazebos. At the north end of Mizner is one of Boca Raton’s best outdoor amphitheaters, which attracts world-famous talent. Situated right next to the amphitheater is the Boca Raton Museum of Art, a small but must-visit attraction, making Mizner Park Boca Raton’s true center of culture.

University Commons

1400 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431

Possibly the most convenient of all Boca Raton shopping centers, University Commons is located immediately east of the Glades Road exit on I-95. It has the layout of a traditional strip mall, but among its tenants are heavy-hitters, such as Whole Foods, a busy Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom Rack, and a Shake Shack. It can be a little popular with the young adult crowd, by way of Boca Raton Community High School (one of the best public schools in the state of Florida, we might add) sitting just a block away, but University Commons remain clean, orderly, and convenient. However, if someone steals your space in the parking lot on a busy Friday night (it will happen), trust us…let it go.

The Polo Club Shops of Boca Raton

Nestled out west among the gated communities that stretch out as far as the eye can see are The Polo Club Shops of Boca Raton. Named for the community next to it, which was an homage for the polo fields of days gone by. Here you will find the trifecta of stores that are the sign of a great Boca Raton shopping center: Publix, TooJay’s, and Pet Supermarket. Add to that - jewelers, pho, hair salon, three Italian restaurants, two banks, spa, and UPS Store, they have enough amenities to incorporate their own town and probably should.
