Lemongrass Asian Bistro
Lemongrass Asian Bistro has been an absolute favorite for Boca Raton and South Florida residents for nearly two decades. With locations dotting South Florida, Lemongrass is everything you'd want in a reliably delicious, classy East Asian restaurant. With an atmosphere and service to match their fresh ingredients and superb flavors, Lemongrass has become one of our favorites for everything from work lunch to a date night.
Nori
Nori is a Sushi-Thai restaurant right along Palmetto Park Rd. offering award-winning ramen dishes and complementary sushi creations. The presence of ramen as a core focus intrigues us, as while there are many great Pan-Asian locales to choose from in Boca Raton, the selection of ramen and pho is more limited than sushi and Thai. Nori starts with an impressive list of cold and hot appetizers, and some rarified takes on classic Japanese and Thai flavors, such as lobster pad Thai, salmon panang, and a crispy whole snapper.
YAKITORI SAKE HOUSE
The Yakitori Sake House is located just south of Kanpai in the Royal Palm Plaza. They've been one of the premier destinations for date night, with a smooth backlit bar and interior creating a relaxing atmosphere. Yakitori Sake House specializes in its full sake bar but also features a lunch, dinner, catering, and promotional menu.
SUSHI YAMA
Voted as "the best Japanese Restaurant in town three times in Boca Raton Magazine, Sushi Yama has two locations in Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens. Established in 1996, Sushi Yama specializes in sizzling teriyaki dishes, fresh sashimi, and bistro-style appetizers.
ICHIYAMI BUFFET & SUSHI
Ichiyami sushi buffet in Boca Raton is an incredible value. Ichiyama features an extensive sushi bar, hot bar, dessert, ice cream, and even a custom stir fry station, featuring a one-price, all-you-can-eat dining option. Ichiyama gives it all for a great price, located in the Royal Palm Plaza just south of Mizner Park.
SUSHI RAY
Please Note: Sushi Ray has since CLOSED following the creation of this blog.
Sushi Ray is named for its founder, a Hong Kong native embodying the American dream. Ray emigrated to the United States in the 1970s and has since followed a constant upward trajectory through the culinary industry. Ray parlayed his decades of experience into one of Boca Raton's best sushi restaurants - featuring a beautiful bar with a unique selection of imported sakes, a moody, romantic sushi bar, and hibachi tables - where entertainment meets delectable East Asian cuisine.
KANPAI
Located right off Palmetto Park Road in the heart of Mizner Park, Kanpai was founded by the ownership behind the Yakitori Sake House and featured an innovative array of Japanese favorites. Their unique offerings include a specialty sake menu, Japanese BBQ tables, craft cocktails, and a revolving sushi bar.
SushiGo
SushiGo is a renowned hidden gem surrounded by competition at the heart of Boca Raton. Just feet from communities like Winfield Park, SushiGo has emerged from the darkness to become a favorite among Boca Raton residents and visitors alike. This spectacular little stop is headed by none other than Renowned Chef Sun Gook Joe (aka Chef Joe) of NOBU fame, whose humility is seen in this unassuming locale with just a few dozen available seats. The prices, however, rival some of the highest in the community, though are far from undeserving given the reputation of this local sushi spot and its legendary chef at the helm.
